Legionella Water Testing
Legionella bacteria is commonly found in natural water sources such as rivers, ponds and lakes. It can also be found in man-made systems such as:

Legionnaire’s disease is a fatal type of pneumonia which can be caused by inhaling airborne water droplets containing viable Legionella bacteria. Likewise, anyone can develop Legionnaire’s disease but the elderly, smokers, those with cancer, diabetes, chronic respiratory or kidney disease are at more risk. Above all, Legionella water testing can help.

So for that reason, we train our water tanker drivers in the safest method of extracting water from the network using hydrants and standpipes, to prevent damage to pipework and stirring up sediment in the line which could get into the water being drawn to fill a tanker. Its called water calming
