The Brief:
At TardisH2O we offer a drinking water delivery service across the UK. In this particular instance, we delivered bulk drinking water to the North East. The North Sea Shipping is an integrated management company providing advanced vessels and management services to the oil, gas and energy industry. During a recent docking with one of their ships, it was realised that the boat had no drinkable water for the crew. So along came TardisH2O!
The Challenge:
As the vessel was running short on time, GAC, a worldwide leading shipping and logistics company, acted on behalf of the crew and requested the delivery of 120,000 litres drinkable water within a 24-hour response time. In order to meet the departure deadline for the ship, it was imperative that we met the customer expectations with a trip from our West Midlands depot to Newcastle.
To avoid disruption for the delivery of this service, the enquiry had to be confirmed and booked quickly. With careful planning, our Tardis team rallied together and the drivers began embarking on the job at Newcastle in a short space of time. Time was of the essence!
